Rebel Ginger Studio is a creative design studio based in Auckland, New Zealand. With almost 20 years industry experience in motion directing, 2D and 3D motion design, VFX in TV and advertising, both in New Zealand and the United Kingdom, Rebel Ginger Studio is a creative design studio uniquely positioned to adapt to different clients needs but also push creative boundaries to deliver their vision. 

Rebel Ginger Studio was founded in 2025 by Aaron Clarke. After working for large New Zealand media companies, Aaron decided to rebel against the safe option and go out on his own. Inspired by this rebellion, Rebel Ginger Studio was born.  

Prior to 2025 Aaron was the Motion Director / Head of Graphics for Warner Bros. International Television Production New Zealand, working across some of New Zealand’s biggest shows, including New Zealand’s first virtual production reality show. Aaron has experience running teams of freelancers, mentoring junior designers, liaising with production, as well as has experience working on set and finding ways to push the design aesthetic without breaking the budget.
